Stock No. 421

Birch plywood and Afromosia
Wax finish.

Laminated birch plywood with a strip of afromosia make this a very attractive design. Putting modesty aside, I have to say that this is a very well made platter and one of my favourite pieces.

Sweet Chestnut
Wax finish

Sweet chestnut is a very pleasant wood to work with. It resembles oak in appearance but is softer and more compliant, yet no less attractive. The rim of this platter has been subtly stained to form a gentle contrast with the interior.

Stock No. 448

Birch Plywood and Oak

Another laminated piece, this time incorporating a strip of English oak towards one side. This is a much bigger piece than the one above and would make a striking centrepiece to grace any table.
